Non-binding estimates provide the consumer with an hourly rate, number of crew members, and proposed time needed to complete the job. Your actual price could be more or less than estimated. Phone quotes are always non-binding. Binding and guaranteed estimates provide the consumer with the actual cost for agreed service. This type of estimate is available for on-site estimates only. Binding and not-to-exceed estimates provide the consumer with a price cap for agreed services. Your actual cost could be less if the job is completed in fewer hours than estimated. Moving companies are not licensed to sell insurance. Valuation is a method of placing a value on your belongings. There are three options available: basic, depreciated, and full value. Basic value is included in all quotes at no charge. It provides 60 cents per lb. per article. Depreciated value and full value protection provide additional protection for a fee.

A destination charge is generated on any local job (35 miles or less) as 1 hour per 50 miles or fraction thereof.
